Shoplifting at Walmart costs $1,146

Batesville Municipal Court was held the day before Thanksgiving with a short docket.
Only three defendants appeared in front of Judge Jay Westfaul during Wednesday’s session.
Nikita Holmes, 329 East St., Apartment 10, Batesville, entered a not guilty plea to contributing to the delinquincy of a minor. A trial was set for December 14.
Julie Martin, 885 Quitman Ave., Lambert, entered a guilty plea to shoplifting from Walmart. She was fined $1,146.
Steven A. Winchell, 62 Ralph Jackson, Coldwater, had a case for DUI-other continued. He told the judge he would be represented by attorney Don Lazarus.
