ND up against Bayou for homecoming
By Will Dickins
It’s homecoming week at North Delta and it closes with a district football game against Bayou Academy. Both teams are 1-2 in district play and looking for their second win.
Both teams’ wins came against Kirk Academy. Bayou defeated them last week 54-35 while the Green Wave beat Kirk 48-23 in week four. Coach Brandon Ciaramitaro sees the urgency of not letting last week’s game effect this week and is focused on Bayou.
“It is important that we don’t let this game beat us two times. Obviously we are not happy with the outcome. Even though we have had a lot of distractions this week, our guys have been focused and ready for the challenge that Bayou will present to us Friday. “
Offensively, Bayou is multiple on offense and causes a few problems if the defense is not sound in where they line up. Look for another battle with North Delta hoping to come out victorious.
With it being homecoming of course, the homecoming queen will be announced at halftime. Coach Ciaramitaro urges all to come out and support the ladies and the football team.
