Ricky Flynt, Wildlife Biologist and Alligator Program Coordinator for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks will present a program about alligators at the Visitor Education Center (VEC) on Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m.
The program is free with the price of admission. Admission is $2.50 for adults ages 18-59, and $2.00 for youth ages 3-17 and adults over the age of 60. For additional information, call the VEC at (662) 563-8068.

The Mississippi State University Panola County Alumni Chapter will hold its annual Send Off Party at the MSU Extension-Panola County Building at 245-C Eureka Street, Batesville, from 6 to 8 p.m.
There is no fee to attend. Incoming and transfer students from Panola and Tallahatchie Counties are invited to attend. Students need to respond with their t-shirt size.
Food will be furnished by active alumni. Dress is casual.

Current South Panola High School football season ticket holders may purchase their 2016 season tickets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Panola High School July 18 through July 29.
Chair-back stadium seats are $75, while regular stadium seats are $55. For more information, call 662-563-4756.
Those who are not currently season ticket holders, but wish to take part, may purchase tickets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Panola High on Aug. 1 through 5.

North Delta football season ticket sales are on sale for $75 for seats with backs.
Tickets will work for varsity and junior high games.
