Is your pet the cutest? Enter your pets in The Panolian’s Cutest Pet contest and help other little cuties like yours. The Panolian’s Cutest Pet contest serves to help the Panola County Humane Society in their endeavor to love and care for animals without a home.
There is no fee to enter so there’s no reason not to enter. Let your pet shine. Starting today, bring your entry form and your favorite picture of your pet to The Panolian. June 24 will be the last day to enter.
Voting begins July 1 with all proceeds going to the Humane Society. Votes will be 25 cents each. Donations are also welcome.
Voting will end July 15 at 3 p.m. and the top three pets with the most votes will be named our winners.
By entering and voting in The Panolian’s Cutest Pet Contest you are helping the Panola County Humane Society continue efforts like its spay/neuter program that helps control the pet population of our community.
According to PCHS president Margaret Eubanks, they help spay/neuter 80 to 100 companion animals a year. The Humane Society only requires that low income applicants pay a $25 co-pay, as they cover the remaining cost.
Since there is no animal shelter in Panola County, the group relies heavily on volunteers from its 110 members to house homeless animals until a permanent place can be found for them.
