The North Delta baseball team remained undefeated at 4-0 on the young season with a pair road wins over Central Holmes Saturday and Tunica Academy Monday.
Bailey Ross, Ethan Calvert and Hunter Baker collected two hits each to lead North Delta to a 13-8 win over Central Holmes. Hunter Houston worked four innings of relief to earn the pitching victory.
The Green Wave bats stayed hot Monday with a 12-1 romp over Tunica in five innings. Hayden Hankins and Baker registered two hits while Houston drove in three runs. Luke Noah struck out nine and walked one batter while surrendering three hits to pick up the complete game victory.
North Delta’s road trip continues this weekend as they take on Lee Scott of Auburn, Ala. in Columbus tonight with the varsity taking the field at 5 p.m followed by junior varsity play at 7 p.m. The Green Wave returns to the diamond tomorrow  to face Columbus Heritage at 11 a.m. followed with a 4 p.m. matchup against The Lamar School.
