The South Panola fastpitch softball team earned a berth in the first round of playoffs after defeating Greenville Weston 16-0, 16-0 in the play-in Thursday and Saturday.
The Lady Tigers were scheduled to host the Desoto Central Jaguars yesterday for the first round of Class 6A playoffs but due to weather the game was postponed until today at 5:30. Games two and three, if necessary will be played at Desoto Central tomorrow starting at 5 p.m.
The Lady Tigers took the two-and-a-half hour drive to Greenville Thursday with plans of playing a double header but bad weather in the area caused postponement.

In the bottom of the first the Lady Tigers scored 11 runs. Fullilove and Chloe Morgan hit triples, Amber Helmes doubled and Mallory Myers singled for the four hits. Picking up an RBI each were Fullilove, Chloe Morgan, Myers and Helmes.
