SARDIS — Regina Faye Donahou Hall, 60, died, Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
Services were held Saturday at Ray Nowell Funeral Home.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Faye Scribner Donahou.
Survivors include: one daughter, Monica Bruce of Earle Ark.; two sons, Ryan Guidry of Alexandra, Va. and Corey Guidry of Sardis; one sister, Glenda Louise Donahou of Baton Rouge, La.; four brothers, Charles Leonard “Bud” Donahou, Jr. and Robert Ernest Donahou, both of Senatobia, Richard Allen Donahou and Denver Lee Donahou, both of Sardis; his father, Charles Leonard Donahou, Sr., also of Sardis; and two grandchildren.
The family has requested memorial contributions may be sent to First United Pentecostal Church, 110 Hospital Rd., Sardis, MS 38666. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
POPE– Juanita Vontice Bland Morrow, 82, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
Services were held Friday at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Ellis officiating. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Grover Morrow.
Survivors include: one son, Doyle Morrow of Pope; four daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Schwinn of Courtland, Sylvia Darby of Enid, Annice “Rene” Atkinson of Millington, Tenn. and Rose Scoggins of Pope; one sister, Bernita Miller of Batesville; two brothers, Hughie Bland and Cecil Bland both of Pope; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
SARDIS– Robert Earl Reed, 48, died Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Reed was of the Episcopalian faith. He was was a musician, singer and songwriter.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Fredonia Methodist Church near Como. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. at the church. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia has charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife, Shelley Alred Reed; one daughter, Sadie Elizabeth Reed, and one son, William Campbell-Coats “Coats” Reed, all of Sardis; two brothers, Cole Campbell Bass of Memphis and Kaolin McClendon Bass of New York, Ny.; and his mother Paula Campbell Bass of Sardis. He was preceded in death by his father, the late H. John Reed.
The family has requested tmemorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
