Renfroe hits grand slam, double, 5 RBIs for Salem win 6/11/13

Third baseman David Renfroe of the Salem Red Sox hit a grand slam to center in top of the fifth Sunday against the Lynchburg Hillcats.
He also hit a RBI (run batted in) double in bottom of the fourth for five RBIs on the evening as he went 2 for 4 and scored one run. He raised his batting average to .271 on the season. Salem won 7-4 to split the four-game series 2-2.
Renfroe has 35 hits on the season including three homeruns.
Through tomorrow, Salem will host Wilmington and finish out the week against Lynchburg on Sunday. The team will break for four days during the All-Star break next Monday through Thursday.
Renfroe is a graduate of South Panola and was drafted in the third round by the Boston Red Sox in 2009.
