Some customers of the Pope-Courtland Water Association may experience low water pressure while the Courtland tank undergoes routine maintenance.
Maintenance of the Courtland tank is set to begin Monday, December 10.
Low water pressure could persist for three to four weeks, mostly affecting customers in Courtland, said Chad Meek, a trustee on the water association.
The Courtland tank was installed approximately 15 years ago and has never been refurbished, said Meek. The crew will sandblast the tank then repaint it.
A test of water lines showed the low water pressure is passing minimum standards of the state Department of Health, Meek said.
The Pope-Courtland Water Association serves approximately 900 customers.
