David Chandler, the former county administrator, is set to be sentenced November 14 in Oxford according to court documents.
Chandler pleaded guilty last year to mail fraud and embezzlement as part of a plea bargain with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, also in Oxford.
Chandler served as county administrator from 1987 to 2008.
A federal investigation led to Chandler early on and he cooperated with the FBI and federal prosecutors to indict businessman Lee Garner, and former Tri-Lakes executives Dr. Robert Corkern and Ray Shoemaker.
Corkern has pleaded guilty to a single count of bribing Chandler while Shoemaker was sentenced this week to 55 months in prison.
The doctor was scheduled to be sentenced along with Shoemaker but the hearing was postponed.
Garner was convicted by a federal jury in February but his conviction was tossed out by a judge.
