A charred SUV sits in front of a sizable brick home in the Mossy Oak subdivision south of Batesville after a late-night house fire Tuesday. The automobile was pulled from the garage when four fire departments responded to the fire at 431 Moss Lane. No one was home when the fire broke out but a Courtland volunteer firefighter, Tate Harris, was burned on the neck and treated at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
