Former South Panola assistant coach Jamie Easley is back in the market for a new job. After serving at Red Bay, Alabama for almost three months, he announced his resignation Monday afternoon.
This is Red Bay’s third head football coach resignation in seven months.
“I thought it would be easier for me to find a job in Mississippi than for Kerry to find one in Alabama which was proven she wasn’t going to get one there,” he said.
Kerry Easley was approved for hire last month in the South Panola School District.
As of Monday afternoon Easley did not have a job.
South Panola senior All-American Tony Conner was tabbed as the Clarion-Ledger’s first pick of the 2012 Dandy Dozen selection.
He became the 21st South Panola player to be named a Dandy Dozen. According to Rod Walker of the Clarion-Ledger, that is the most of any school.
