The 2010 South Panola national championship books are at the printing company but due to printing problems, the shipment of the books has been delayed.

The books were scheduled to be shipped last Friday and it is anticipated the books will be available to the public by Friday. If the books arrive before then, a message will be posted on www.panolian.com.

The Panolian apologizes for Sphinx Publishing for not meeting the promised distribution date.

“Sphinx told me they had to shut down production for a couple of days and then a couple of pages came out the printer wrong and they had to rerun those pages. We are in the printing business and know these things happen. I am glad they caught the mistakes before they sent us the books,” said The Panolian sports editor Myra Bean.

The 2010 National Championship book highlights the golden season of the South Panola Tigers’ run to the championship.

There were 100 extra books ordered and anyone who would like to purchase a book may do so for $19.95 plus tax for a total of $21.35.

Those who would also like a 2007 Drive for 5 book can get one with the purchase of a new book for only $5 more for a total of $26.70.
