The North Delta basketball teams held camps for the younger grades last week.
Sixty girls in grades one through seventh participated and 30 boys in grades three through seven also participated.
The girls were divided into three divisions and awarded respectively.
Division 3 was first through third grade. Division 2 was fourth through sixth grade. Division 1 was the seventh grade.
Receiving all purpose awards in Division 3 were first, Kendall Alexander; second, Mary Katherine Shiflett; and third, Ally Alford.
Dribbling champions are first place, Shiflett; second, Emy Cay Donaldson; and third, Isabella Morrow.
Jump shot winners include first Alexander; second, Morrow; and third, Donaldson.
Finishing tops in passing were first, Donaldson; second, Shiflett and third, Morrow.
Receiving the heart of the champion award from camp coaches was Bronwyne Bain.
In Division 2, all purpose winners were first place, Haley Lamm; second, Sarah Toole; and third, Sarah Johnson.
Top dribblers are first, Janie Brasell; second, Lamm; and third McKarlee Ingram.
Winning in hot shots were first, Toole; second, Ginger Stephens; and third, Brasell.
Passing winners are first, Brasell; second, Toole; and third, Johnson.
Winning the 3-on-3 round was the team of Mary Emily Morris, Ingram and Brasell.
The 1-on-1 winner was Brasell while Tool won the hot shot and the free throw awards.
The heart of the champion award in Division 2 went to Siena Cabrera.
Receiving all purpose awards in Division 1 were first place, Madison Atkins; second, Peyton Rico; and third, Anna Lloyd.
Dribbling leaders were first, Julianna Morrow; second, Callie Blake Masterson; and third, Hastings Neal.
Jump shot champions include first place, Mary Lynn Lewis; second, Morrow; and third, Hannah Heafner.
Taking home passing awards were first, Lewis; second, Claire Gant; and third, Neal.
Winning the 3-on-3 round was the team of Morrow, Rico and Lewis. The 1-on-1 winner was Neal. Hot shots winner was Gant. Free throw winner was Jordan Pullen.
Receiving the heart of the champion award for Division 1 was Shelby Province.
Boys head coach Brad Wilson did not give out individual championship awards in third through sixth grade, but recognized each participant with a certificate.
Winners in the other categories include:
Hot shot – Will Hartzell, 83 for week;
Free Throws – Harley Ashby, 39/50;
Speed Dribbling-five seconds-Ridge Simmerman;
Sportsmanship – Jackson Sims;
1-on-1 – Andy Linder; and
3-on-3 Bobcats team of Sam Copeland, Spencer Rushing and Sims.
