North Delta graduates walk tonight to kick off exercises

A 7 p.m. graduation ceremony tonight at North Delta School kicks off the annual ritual of diplomas and teary-eyed mommas.

Twenty-seven Greenwave graduates will receive diplomas, said school counselor Susan Lewis.

North Delta senior Chance Crites is valedictorian. Linsey Hebert is salutatorian and Samantha Massoth is historian.

South Panola

South Panola High will follow with a 3 p.m. graduation Sunday at Tad Smith Coliseum on the Ole Miss campus.

Two hundred twenty-seven seniors will receive diplomas from South Panola, where Tyler Sturgis is the 2010 valedictorian.

John Hendren is salutatorian, and David Dulin II is historian, at South Panola.

South Panola’s annual graduation party, Project Graduation, will follow Sunday night at South Panola High School.

North Panola

North Panola High will hold its graduation May 26, at Northwest Community College, at 6 p.m.

Eighty North Panola graduates will receive diplomas, said school counselor Wanda McKinney.

DeRonnius Young is the 2010 valedictorian. Shanika Pride is salutatorian and Ashley Taylor is historian.
