It will be impossible to attend everything that’s scheduled, but people who try can probably get their fill of nearly everything: football camps, car shows, zydeco and country music.

Batesville’s 12th annual SpringFest kicks off two days of music, food and fun on the Downtown Square this afternoon.

Country music artist Keith Anderson headlines the music-centered event. He takes the stage Saturday night at 9 p.m.

South Panola Tiger football will kick off its season tonight in Louisville, at a 5 p.m. spring game.

The 2009 6A state champions will face 2009 state 5A champion West Point, and 2009 4A runner-up Louisville as they cap off spring practice with scrimmage games.

Tri-Lakes Medical Center ends its observance of National Hospital Week with a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today

North Delta School graduates its 2010 class with ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.

On Saturday, DeShea Townsend hosts the 11th annual Pay-It-Forward Football Camp at South Panola Stadium. More than 1,000 children are expected to attend.

In an event that can only happen here, the longtime Pittsburg Steeler, now a free agent, brings enough NFL friends to Batesville to dress out a team.

The camp will be followed by the DeShea Townsend Celebrity Car Show at 1 p.m. at the Batesville Civic Center.

South Panola High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. at Tad Smith Coliseum on the University of Mississippi campus. Following will be Project Graduation.

And out at Lone Lake Moto Cross, Joe Barnett is hosting motocross racing with practice runs Saturday and races starting at noon Sunday.
