Students in Panola County will return to school this week.

In the South Panola School District, Pope School students will return Thursday, August 6.

“Meet the Teacher Night” will be held Wednesday, August 5, from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Pope School.

At Batesville Elementary, the first day of school for pre-schoolers, first graders and kindergarten girls will be Thursday, August 6. Kindergarten boys will stay home.

Kindergarten boys will come to school on Friday, August 7 (girls stay home). Pre-schoolers and first graders will also attend school that day.

All students will attend school at Batesville Elementary School Monday, August 10.

Back to School Night will be held Wednesday, August 5, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Batesville Elementary School.

Fourth and fifth graders at Batesville Middle School will return to school on August 6.

“Meet the Teacher Night” will be held at BMS on Wednesday night from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The first day of school for sixth graders at Batesville Junior High will be Thursday, August 6.

The first day for Batesville Junior High students, seventh and eighth grade, will be Friday, August 7. (Sixth graders stay home).

All junior high students will attend school on Monday, August 10.

For South Panola High School, the ninth graders will come to school on Thursday, August 6. Everyone will meet in the gym and the only supply needed is a pencil.

The first day of school for tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders will be Friday. Ninth graders will stay home. All students will attend school on Monday, August 10.

All students in the North Panola School District will attend school Friday, August 7.

North Delta School will have open house beginning at 5 p.m. today.

Barbecue plates will be sold at the Booster Club Dinner at 6 p.m. and Meet the Wave will be in the gym at 7 p.m.

The first day of school for ND for K-5 – 12th grade will be August 5. Students will only stay half a day.

Students will go all day August 6.

Orientation for North Delta’s K-3 grade and K-4 will be from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on August 7.

Classes for K3 and K4 will begin Monday, August 10.
