The first Fun Day with the Stars will be held Saturday, July 18, at the Carr Farm on Eureka Road.

Attending are Atlanta Falcons’ Peria Jerry, Minnesota Vikings’ Jamarca Sanford, Derek Pegues, Michael Oher of the Baltimore Ravens and John Jerry, Ole Miss All American.

The events will run from 2 to 8 p.m.

The “Stars” will sign autographs and there will be rides and other fun activities for the attendees. There is no age limit, according to organizer Fred Hentz. It will be open to the public and there will be free food, drinks and Sno Cones.

These recent draftees to the NFL know where they came from and want to give back to the community, according to Hentz.

“We were just sitting around and they came by and asked what they could do to start something annually,” Hentz said. “They know where they came from and don’t want to forget it.”
