Patterson letter to editor

I have always heard the phrase “The wheels of justice turns slowly.”
I now know that phrase is so true. These families have been waiting for over two years for justice. That justice finally came on Monday, November 19, 2007. Justice for a 17 year old who lost her life, for my my daughter who is paralyzed for life, and for another girl who was also injured. I am speaking about an automobile accident that happened on August 28, 2005. The boy who was driving was under the influence of alcohol and drugs, driving way too fast, left the road and flipped the car several times.
Since that time he has been arrested for several traffic violations, but thank God he has not injured anyone else. I hope while he is serving his time he can see where he needs to change his ways. I will be praying for him and his family.
