When it seems that each day we hear mostly of crime and tragedy, there are still situations that remind us of honesty and truth. I had a recent experience at the First Security Bank ATM machine where, being in a hurry and not paying attention, I (without knowing) left my card in the machine and pulled away with my account still active.
I rushed home and continued with my usual busy routine, and then settled in for the night. I recieved a very unexpected call that night from a lady who, after carefully making sure I was who she thought I was, informed me that she not only had my ATM card but the money that the machine, still active on my account, gave the next gentleman. I do not know this gentleman’s name but he, with the help of Virginia Conley, tracked me down anxious to return my belongings.
I would like to once again thank the unknown man and Ms. Conley for their honesty and determination. They are the true picture of a good samaritan.
